Summer Camp Programs

The fun isn’t over at Backpack University when the school year ends! We provide uniquely-themed summer camp programs for the children at our center to keep them active and engaged throughout the summer months. Younger students enjoy special snacks, such as popcorn and ice cream, as well as exciting activities, like water play days, spin art sessions, and visits from local entertainers and animal experts.

School-aged children are able to participate in field trips to different locations outside the center, such as the community swimming pool, local parks and museums, the movie theater, and more. Past field trip destinations have also included a behind-the-scenes tour of the Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts, exploring historic St. Augustine, and a candy-making class at Sweet Pete’s. All transportation and admission costs are included in our affordable summer activity fee, and every field trip is chaperoned and supervised by our trained and professional staff members.
